The improvements about children rights have emerged at the beginning of 1800s with the implications in orphanages. From the beginning of the 20th century the idea that the rights of men and children should be considered distinctly has spread. Declaration of the Rights of the Child which was prepared with this idea was accepted in 1924 by the League of Nations, then in the years 1959 and 1989 it was renewed twice.

Family Houses Garden wall’s building: 1,500 TL·         Minibus for children’s transportation: 17.500 TL·         Oven for 4. and 11. Family Houses: 2.500 TL·         1 unit TV for 7. Family House: 800 TL YOUTH FASILITIES, KYRENIA                            ·         2 unit washing machine·         Appropriate cloths for teenagers between 16-22 years old.                     “PREVENTION OF CHILD ABANDONMENT” PROJECT ·         Minibus: 7,500 TL       ·         Second hand cloths are accepted.  Families in need, scope of the  Family      Strengthening and Prevention of child abandonment project, are providing      second hand donations from you and other various materials.  SOS KINDERGARTEN ·         1 unit TV: 1.750 TL ·         Toy set for indoor playground: 4.000 TL SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE’S BASIC NUTRIMENT NEEDSSugar, rice, macaroni, egg, jam, honey, sunflower oil, olive oil, tomatoe sauce/paste, varity of leguminosaes.  EDUCATION NEEDSBook, Note book, school bag, various of stationary materials, school uniform, school shoe. CLOTH NEEDSBetween 0-16 years old children who are taking care at Nicosia Children’s Village, appropriate child cloths. (trouser, track-suit, blouse, T-shirt, short, jumper, shirt, jacket, shoes, underware and slippers).  

IMPORTANT NOTE: Some of the needs that not included in list, they are covering from other donors.  Need list often to become current,  charitable persons or companies who want to donate associaton’s any needs, please ask to provide current list.
